Changed my mind about tracking my water intake after seeing a patient's chart

I always thought those 'drink 8 glasses a day' reminders were just annoying, but a patient at the hospital had a chart showing their chronic dehydration over 3 months and it clicked. I started using a free app called WaterMinder to track my own intake, and hitting my goal for 5 days straight actually gave me more energy for my night shifts. Anyone else find a simple habit tracker that actually stuck for them?

Honestly had the same thing happen after a long week of feeling totally drained. Tried a basic notes app on my phone just to log glasses of water, nothing fancy. Stuck with it because seeing the list fill up made it feel like a game I could win. That simple check mark system somehow fixed my afternoon energy crashes for good.
