My productivity tanked when I left Bali for Medellin, here is the real difference

After 8 months in Canggu I was getting 6 hours of focused work done daily. Then I moved to Medellin 3 months ago and suddenly I'm lucky to hit 3 hours. The difference is the timezone chaos - trying to sync with US clients while living in Colombia time is a NIGHTMARE. Has anyone else found certain timezones just kill your flow no matter how disciplined you are?

Buddy moved to Chiang Mai. Same problem. Timezones wrecked his workflow completely.

My buddy in Bangkok says the 12-hour difference means he takes meetings at 3am now.
