Oof, that's rough. At least the library was an option, I guess? Hope the rest of the trip was better.

Remember when I thought libraries were just for quiet study? Seeing them as a real backup plan during a trip totally changed my mind. It's not just about books, it's a free, safe spot to figure things out when everything else goes wrong. That kind of public space feels different to me now. I used to walk right past them, but I get their value in a whole new way.
