Pro tip: don't cheap out on a paint sprayer unless you want to waste 8 hours cleaning it

Bought a $60 Wagner sprayer from the big box store and spent more time taking it apart and scrubbing dried latex out of every tiny crevice than I did actually painting my living room, has anyone found a decent one under $150 that doesn't clog every 10 minutes?

Blew through two of those cheap Wagner sprayers before I wised up. Ended up grabbing a used Graco X5 off Craigslist for $120, cleaned it up and it's been a workhorse for like three years now. The key is to just flush it with warm water and mineral spirits right after you're done, don't let that latex sit. Have you checked the used market for a proper diaphragm pump sprayer?
