Taping that ceiling taught me patience the hard way

I had to wait for the mud to fully cure on a high humidity day, which took almost twice as long as usual. Rushing it would have meant bubbles and cracks showing up later. Now I always factor in extra time for drying, no matter what the schedule says. It keeps the finish smooth and saves me from callbacks.

Humidity turning a one-day dry into a two-day wait is frustrating. @jade_miller62 is right that it throws off your whole schedule beyond just that task. Your plan to always add extra drying time is the way to go.

Man, humidity's the worst! I bet that extra wait time throws off your whole rhythm for the day, not just that one task.
