Tack strip or glue down for a weird concrete slab in an old house?
I had to pick between tack strips and full glue down for a basement remodel in a 1920s house in St. Paul, and I went with glue down because the slab was so uneven. The floor's been down for 6 months now with no issues, but I keep wondering if the tack strip crowd would have held up better long term. Has anyone else dealt with a slab that bad and regretted their choice?

Was your slab bad enough that glue down felt like the only real option, or did you consider self-leveling compound first?
