A wedding client wanted a full arch made of fresh lavender. It took me four days to source enough that wasn't already dried or turning brown.

Wow, that sounds like a huge hunt! Was it mostly a problem of finding farms that had it in season, or just getting the timing right for the delivery? I can only imagine how stressful that must have been trying to find so much perfect, fresh lavender. You must have been so relieved when you finally tracked it all down!

Four days just to find fresh lavender. Did you have to check with farms directly or was it all through wholesalers?

My friend had to get 200 white peonies overnight for a last minute shoot. She ended up calling three different states and had a guy drive a refrigerated van from Oregon. The whole thing cost more than the shoot fee.
