I was putting the coffee maker in the wrong spot for years...

My sister came to visit and pointed out that having the machine right next to the sink was making the grounds damp from the steam. I moved it to the counter by the window, and my morning coffee actually tastes better now. Has anyone else had a simple setup change make a big difference in their guest space?

Oh man, that reminds me of my friend's old apartment. He had his record player on the same wobbly shelf as his router for the longest time.
