I was putting the coffee maker in the wrong spot for years...

My sister came to visit and pointed out that having the machine right next to the sink was making the grounds damp from the steam. I moved it to the counter by the window, and my morning coffee actually tastes better now. Has anyone else had a simple setup change make a big difference in their guest space?

Oh man, that reminds me of my friend's old apartment. He had his record player on the same wobbly shelf as his router for the longest time. The vibrations were messing with the sound, making it all fuzzy. He finally moved the player to a solid dresser across the room, and it was like hearing his albums for the first time. Just a simple move fixed everything.

Same thing happened with my guest bathroom setup. Had a small shelf above the toilet that was rattling every time someone flushed... turned out the whole towel rack was loose and vibrating against the pipe. @rayc89 mentioned the router vibrations wrecking sound quality, same principle applies here. Tightened the bracket and moved the towels to a hook on the door, now everything feels solid and guests dont have to fish for towels. Little stuff really adds up.
