inBeating the ache in my shoulders after lifting injectors
Totally get that, those small moves add up fast. I got into the habit of rolling my neck and wrists on my breaks too, just a minute here and there. It started helping with the constant reaching and twisting I do. Now it's just something I do without thinking, and it takes the edge off for the whole shift. Such a simple fix for a nagging problem.

inMy anvil survived a freeze thanks to a basic cover
My grandpa used to swear by cardboard for everything. He once made a whole temporary shed roof out of layered cardboard boxes and tar paper when a storm blew the real one off. Lasted three months until he got around to proper repairs. His whole shop was full of jury-rigged fixes like that, honestly more reliable than some fancy stuff you buy now. Guess the lesson is just to use what you have sometimes.

inOur old job site lunches used to involve a lot more cooking
Come on, that hot plate was a mess waiting to happen. Someone always burned the eggs and made the place smell like sulfur. Now with a gas station sandwich, I eat in peace and don't waste half my break cleaning up. No more arguing about who brought the cheap bacon. Progress tastes just fine, even if it comes wrapped in plastic.
