inBack in 2012 I tried to make a simple website with just Notepad
Actually I think line breaks in the code are way cleaner! All those extra paragraph tags just make the whole thing messy and harder to read later.

inChatted with a fire inspector in Phoenix about glass break sensors
Oh man, that inspector is spot on. I've seen the audio-only ones go off from stuff like a plate shattering in a kitchen sink, or even a really loud phone ringtone. The dual-tech sensors are way smarter because they need both the sound and the physical shake. It's absolutely worth the upgrade, especially near streets or construction. The last thing you want is the fire department showing up for a garbage truck.

inI thought my old gas mower was fine, then I borrowed my neighbor's electric one
Consider the math on that electric mower's battery. It's a big upfront cost and that battery will need a full replacement in maybe five years, which is basically buying the mower again. My gas can sits in the shed for months and the mower starts on the second pull every spring.

inMy dad found his old offer letter for a house in Scarborough from 1989
Man, my savings account is a joke compared to that.

inI spent a whole day trying to get a seized bolt out with a torch and a cheater bar before I remembered my little impact driver.
Just a small point, but a hot bolt can actually seize tighter in the aluminum pan as it cools. The impact driver works because it breaks that static friction with sudden hits.
