My sister said she keeps a 'done list' instead of a to-do list in her journal

I was at her place last weekend and saw her bullet journal open on the table. She told me she stopped writing tasks for the day and just logs what she actually finishes. She said, "It stops me from feeling bad about what I didn't do." I tried it for three days and it's way less stressful. I just write down small wins like 'paid the electric bill' or 'walked the dog.' Has anyone else tried something like this?

Totally stealing this idea from your sister. My old to-do lists were just guilt trips written down, with half the stuff never getting done. Now my notebook has things like "finally changed that lightbulb" and "ate lunch away from my desk." It sounds silly but seeing a list of what you actually did is way better than staring at what you didn't.

Honestly my "done" list is just a bunch of crossed-out nonsense, but it still feels good!
