inThe 2 AM rabbit hole on YouTube about floor safes being fake hiding spots
Wait, you actually found a police report that lined up with your uncle's story? I used to roll my eyes at the whole "floor safes are fake" thing, figured it was just internet paranoia. But that bit about the safe vanishing during a renovation gives me the creeps. It makes you wonder how many of those old installs just got quietly ripped out when someone realized there was a paper trail. I'm going to have to dig into my grandma's property records next time I'm over there, your mileage may vary but this definitely changed my mind.

inShoutout to the person who left a 1-star review for a product they never bought
Fake reviews don't actually hurt anyone, they just make browsing more entertaining. That guy probably had a bad day and wanted to vent somewhere, who cares if it was for a leaf blower he never touched. If you're seriously relying on Home Depot reviews to decide between a pressure washer and a lawn mower, you've got bigger problems than a few spam posts. People need to lighten up and stop acting like every review site is a sacred truth database.

inCan we talk about pruning paint on oak trees in warm weather
Point out the size of cuts you’re painting. If you’re just sealing off a 2 inch branch, you probably won’t see rot because the wound is small enough to dry out on its own anyway. But those bigger cuts on a main limb, especially in warm weather, that’s where I’ve watched paint trap moisture and turn the wound black and mushy within a few months. Have you checked under the paint on your biggest cuts after a summer rain? I’d be curious what you find if you peel it back when it’s hot out.

inThinking about building a gazebo after my neighbor Ron changed my mind
I actually see it differently because airflow matters way more than shade in my climate. I built a pergola with a partial louvered roof and those summer breezes keep things way cooler than Ron's solid gazebo does for him. Have you thought about what the humidity and typical wind patterns are like in your area before deciding?
