Blew out my back just watching a video of that printing press move. Makes me appreciate those old timers even more while I ice my spine.

I was using a 60 tooth Freud on my last jamb saw too and that thing lasted me about 4 months before I started noticing the burn marks. I think it really depends on what youre cutting though, like prefinished oak is way harder on a blade than pine or MDF. For the last year I've been swapping mine every 3-4 jobs or whenever I see the finish start to chip, saves a ton of hassle.

Aw, come on, mistakes are just proof you were actually trying something instead of sitting on the couch. If everything went perfect the first time nobody would ever learn a thing.

Tried a similar approach with 3/8 inch and @milesrobinson is right, it worked great for me too.
