Appreciation post: Seeing fans pick apart color palettes in anime openings made me notice details I always missed.

I used to just watch anime for the story, but after reading threads where people break down every shot, I started seeing how much thought goes into visual storytelling. For example, in 'Attack on Titan', the use of dark blues and grays in certain scenes really sets the mood for despair. Some folks say it's overthinking, but I think it adds layers to the experience. Now I can't help but spot these choices in other shows, and it makes me appreciate the art form more.

Yeah that "crumpled foil" look is way too familiar. @the_taylor is right about snug, not crushed. You can actually feel the crush washer give that last little bit, then just stop.

Serious question, how do you deal with slag sticking to the furnace wall?

My 3-pound sledge on cold metal is my go-to move. It pops the slag off in one solid piece every time. No messing around with warm tapping anymore, lol. Saves so much cleanup time.

Am I the only one who almost had a bear incident from leaving out cooking grease?

Disagree with making grease the main villain here. Bears will come for ANY strong smell, so focusing just on grease misses the bigger picture. Just secure ALL your scents and you are good.
