inWelding helmet fogged up on a test piece and cost me a cert renewal
Sarah I gotta say I tried the whole "spit on the lens" thing once and it was a DISASTER. I ended up with this smeary mess that looked like I smeared butter on my glasses. Maybe I need to practice more or something but my technique is clearly lacking. Its funny because I thought I was being all clever and now I just look like a idiot who cant even spit properly. Guess I will just stick to wiping mine with my shirt like the rest of the normies out here.

inSpent $600 on a home inspection that missed a major plumbing issue
My buddy in Burlington paid $450 for an inspection last year and the guy missed a cracked heat exchanger that nearly cost him $4k in repairs. I figure sometimes the cheap rate comes with corners cut, maybe he doesn't carry proper E&O insurance or just rushes through the job. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'd want to see his license number and proof of bond before signing anything at that price.

inI finally stopped trusting that hot-and-fast brisket advice from a YouTube pitmaster
Same here, high heat works great if you know your smoker.

inThought those 'green' power strips were just a cash grab until my bill dropped

inUnpopular opinion: double cleansing ruined my skin barrier for 6 months until a mentor in Portland told me to quit it
Think people forget oil cleansers have ingredients that can still strip your skin. Even the gentle ones have emulsifiers and stuff that mess with some people's moisture barrier. Your milk cleanser approach is probably better for anyone with naturally dry or sensitive skin.
