Honestly I thought I could just casually watch a few episodes before bed last Friday. Next thing I know the sun is coming up and I'm 20 episodes deep tears streaming down my face over a stupid ship burning. My back is completely wrecked from sitting on the couch in one position for like 8 hours straight. Tbh I learned that I have zero self control when the Straw Hats are involved. Has anyone else accidentally pulled an all-nighter because of this show or am I just a mess?

Had a guy bring in a Dell Optiplex last Tuesday, smelled like burnt electronics the second he walked in. Got burned by that 'too good to be true' duplex in Scarborough

I went to look at this duplex near Kingston Road last month, listed way below market at like $650k. Seemed like a steal for the area. Got there and the basement had a huge crack in the foundation with actual mold growing out of it. The realtor just smiled and said 'oh that's just some minor water staining.' Minor? I could smell it from upstairs. I asked about permits for the basement suite and he got all weird and changed the subject. Took my inspector buddy out there and he said it would need at least $40k in structural work before the city even lets you touch it. Has anyone else dealt with sellers hiding really obvious foundation issues like that?

Hit my 100th drywall patch repair last weekend and it got me thinking

I've been fixing up my old house in Buffalo for about 18 months now. Last Saturday I counted the drywall patches I've done and it came to exactly 100. That's from water damage, old cable holes, and just bad work from before I moved in. I started off making huge messes with mud everywhere, but now I can do a small patch in under 15 minutes with no sanding needed. It surprised me because I never thought I'd get that good at something so tedious. Has anyone else hit a repair milestone that made them realize how far they've come?

Wet cure vs spray cure on a hot day, the difference blew my mind

I did a garage apron last August in Phoenix, sprayed cure on one half and wet burlap on the other half, and the wet cure side came out way harder with zero hairline cracks after 28 days. Has anyone else messed around with both methods on the same pour?
