inMy neighbor saw me buying a single bell pepper and told me to always check the price per pound, not just the sticker price.
Check the price per ounce on the shelf tag, not just the big number. That big bag of rice might seem cheap, but the smaller box is often a better deal by weight. I've saved so much just by comparing those tiny labels. It feels silly at first, but it adds up fast.

inLooking back, I regret the $2,000 I spent on a 'career accelerator' bootcamp that promised a guaranteed job.
Watch this happen with everything from cooking classes to car repairs now. People will pay a premium for the idea of a shortcut, even when the free info is right there. It's like we're buying the promise more than the product.

inChanged my mind about guest lounge lighting after a hotel stay in Savannah
Honestly, you learn to adapt pretty quick. I had a fridge light out for a year once and you just start remembering where stuff is. It forces you to be more organized, too. You don't stand there with the door open letting all the cold air out. Tbh, it's kind of a nice break from everything being so bright and in your face all the time.

Totally, numbers are the only language they really hear.
