inCataloged my first full set of pottery shards today.
Yeah, the "modern methods" part is huge... I can't imagine the guesswork involved in doing it all by hand. It must make sorting and recording everything so much more accurate now. Really changes how much you can get done in a day.

inAppreciation post: Seeing fans pick apart color palettes in anime openings made me notice details I always missed.
Yeah that bit about the dark blues and grays setting the mood is so true. Now I've gone too far the other way, I'll watch a dumb comedy and catch myself saying "the use of bright pink here really underlines the absurdity of the situation" like I'm some art critic. My brain won't turn it off.

inHidden storage in my guest lounge changed everything

inJust realized the old cemetery in my neighborhood has graves from a battle no one talks about...
You said some historical events just fade away, but I see it different. Stuff doesn't just vanish. People choose not to pass it on. That local skirmish probably mattered a ton to the families there, but if the winners didn't write the history books, it gets left out. We lose the small stories because keeping them going takes work nobody does. It's less about fading and more about us not bothering to remember.
