That's a solid tip from your guy in Charlotte, and @gonzalez.rowan is right about the mess! One thing I'd add is to make sure that thin coat of lube on the fish tape is really worked in with a rag. Just wiping it on can leave little globs that catch on the box edge. Taking that extra ten seconds to buff it smooth makes a huge difference.

My first dev job at a small startup showed me the same thing. Real projects just need different tools.
